Jobless...

Greetings Everyone,

Well after 15 years of working at Spartan Stores Inc., Brian was walked out of the warehouse (standard procedure) and fired. We haven't been given a pure cut answer, but believe it was because of the time he missed when I was sick. Sounds like all the paperwork wasn't submitted properly and they found a loophole and turned him loose. If you could please say a prayer for us, as we need lots of them right now. I was due to have 5 more kidney stones extracted next Wed., and the second week of April I was going in to have the left ovary removed because of the every growing Ovarian Cyst. We were finally going to Cleveland Clinic in May to meet with a team of Dr.'s on how best to control my seizures and what to do with the tumor on my pituitary gland. But as of Midnight today (or yesterday now) we no longer have any health Insurance, we quickly filled prescriptions that we could and have mostly been crying, hugging and trying to keep our heads level in this. Brian is finally sleeping on the couch...his work boots haven't sat in my living room in years :( It's a very sad day at our house.

Monday we will be making lots of phone calls, and also trying for unemployment. I'm also heading to BEG for a release so I can go back to work. (Hoping that if we are both out hunting we ought to find something) If anyone knows of someone, please spread the word that we would both be very loyal wonderful workers. Brian has Military Honors and also a license to operate heavy machinery/frk lift/car jack. I've worked in Banks, Credit Unions, Marketing and Nursing.
