Little Bits.....
Well guys, it's been a while since I posted...Busy days. Kennedy started dance, she is taking tap and ballet. I posted some new pictures and I included one that I snapped as we were walking out the door for her first practice....

Brian and the boys have been fishing for Salmon. Brian caught a 34 inch 15 pound one last week....UNFORTUNATELY, it was a female and full of spawn (eggs). SO my husband has been curing and tying up these NASTY eggs for future bait. He thought that he was going to do this on our kitchen table.....yeah, I sent him to the garage!

Brian and the boys joined Scott Sweeney and Uncle CJ today at Johnson Park...Dawson reeled in a 5 1/2 pound, 29 inch Salmon. I've added pictures of the recent fish.....

Ready for a new week..... Current mood: mellow
Hello All....well it was another busy weekend for the DeYoungs...my Godson turned 2!! Happy Birthday Ethan!!! We celebrated his b-day at Play world ALL the kids had a blast!
We also spent some time at the Devos Childrens Hospital...(apparently Cole didn't have enough fun at the party, and wanted to party at the hospital all night.) As many of you know, Cole was diagnosed with epilepsy and placed on a new anti-seizure medication....well of course he was in the 1 percent of kids that are allergic to this. It started out as a bad rash...and within hours covered his entire body...than he became really confused, and started rolling his eyes and unable to focus...We got to the Emergency Department, and they began examining him immediately...his breathing was stable, but it was apparent that he was having a severe reaction. They did numerous blood tests, and even had to give him steroid injections. It was a llloooonnngggg weekend to say the least.
We are home now, and all trying to catch up on some sleep and get back in the routine for school....miss everyone....

Sick Joke..... Current mood: crazy
Ok life is full of sick jokes..but Mother Nature pulled a good one this morning.... "Get your hopes up of having a nice peaceful morning......get your kids up, dressed in their new clothes, and I am going to give you a 2 hour delay because of FOG" YOU have got to be kidding me. Today is Dawson's first day of Kindergarten so he is bouncing of the wall..."Is my bus here yet, Is my bus here yet...."? "Can I get my new clothes on, my new shoes on"? So I'm trying to keep these kids CLEAN, and entertained for an EXTRA 2 hours this morning..they are so excited they are LITERALLY bouncing off the walls......UGH!
PS...I don't think I EVER had a dang "fog" day when I was in school, this is nuts!

Updates...... Current mood: busy
Well all, trying to get a family of seven ready for back to school days is.....let's just say FUN! My last few weeks have consisted of buying back packs, jeans, pencils, folders, highlighters, gym shoes, regular shoes, glue, glue sticks, crayons, paper, markers.....meeting with teachers...giving lunch money, milk money....bringing the kids for physicals, getting shots (poor Dawson...he suckered me into a remote control boat after that!) filling out paperwork, signing consent forms....................
It's just busy around here. Kennedy just signed up for dance she starts September 11.....she is SOOOO excited. We have a meeting next Tuesday with Cole's teachers to discuss new health concerns...Dawson just got his glasses and cries everytime we make him wear them..it's soooo sad!
