Off with the finger.....

Yesterday Brian had his surgery, I decided not to pass another stone and have emergency surgery this week, ha! So he could have his finger hacked off. Thanks for all the well wishes, prayers and the meals over the last week! We have some of the best friends in the whole WORLD. Initially, everything seems to have gone well. He is living life with 9 fingers and a small stump. Thanks to my wonderful father in law for driving with us to Brian's surgery (I'm still on lots of pain medication, as I'm passing another stone :( ) SO having a driver was wonderful. (He also treated Brian and I to dinner afterwards...yummy!) More updates to follow.
