Off with the Finger...

As many of you know, Brian severely injured his finger in June. He has seen 2 hand surgeons, and has tried a new nerve medication for the last 3 months. Upon a recent trip to see Dr. Kuz, it was discussed that they were going to amputate his finger on January 8th of the new year. (Happy New Year to us!) He has little feeling in this finger and seems to catch it on everything. If Bumped in just the right way, it sends pain up his hand. It's often cold and blue in appearance, and definitely causes him more grief than it does help in his daily activities.
